What is the status on the Goleta fire in the Santa Barbara area?

We will be traveling north on Hwy 101 to Santa Maria today and I was wondering what the traffic conjestion is like through this area where people are being evacuated? How far from 101 is this fire?

1. The fire is still raging. What a mess! Do you really have to go? For traffic info, go to the Yahoo start page, and you can check there at any time.
2. No real traffic congestion. It's not really all that close to the 101. I live in Goleta, and drive every morning to work and it's been fine.
