Information Christmas Island Land Lobster (not the insect)?

Hi I was wondering if anyone had any information on a creature that looks almost identical to a lobster but lives on the land. I saw it once in a documentary but cant seem to find any information on it. It lives on land and not in the sea and eats coconuts and other vegitation. Any links or images will help. I have a bet riding on this with my mates.

1. I think what you are thinking of is not a lobster but a species of crab. There have been a number of documentaries about the Christmas Island Red Crab, which are a species of land crab. There are 14 species of crab that can be found on Christmas Island but the red crab is far the most common. I've put some links with more information for you below:-
