Where is Christmas Island?

1. Western Australia.
2. A territory of Australia, in the Indian Ocean, 1,460 miles approx. to the northwest of Perth.
3. due south of the Hawaiian Islands, due east of Indonesia.

There are two islands called Christmas Island - one is in the Pacific near the International Date Line (that would be in the same longitude as Fiji I guess but not sure what country that belongs to)... so yeah, as somebody already said, Hawaii due west, Indonesia due east -another one is in the Java Sea/Indian Ocean just the south of the Indonesian island of Java and northwest of Australia.
