What is the best way to travel from Miami to Kiritimati (Christmas Island)?

Have had trouble finding it on Air Pacific. Would like to go around Easter 2008. Any recommendations and price, please. Air Pacific flies there, indirectly, from Honolulu to Cassidy Airport. It is a tourist destination, with a hotel, etc. I just haven't had luck finding a workable schedule or route and would like to have opinions/advice from those who have travelled there, how they did it.

1. Christmas Island is an Australian Territory in the Indian Ocean off the NW coast of Western Australia and just to the south of Indonesia and i think you'll find the only aircraft servicing it is military aircraft. Looks like Kiritimati is just a speck in the Pacific Ocean in a group of islands called the Line Islands and due to its remoteness i would doubt that any commercial airline would service it.
