How is Christmas Island (the one which is owned by Chile)?

My friend and I are planning to go there. To anyone who have visited Christmas Island, how is it?

1. Sorry I may be wrong but I remember Christmas Island lay below Indonesia, in Asia & own by Australia. Unless you meant Easter Island. It had Stone Carving of Head around the island which the islander call Moai.
