Santa

Where do all the letters posted to santa go?

Ones that have an address like "santa claus, north pole, lapland" whatever. Where do they actually go?

  7. Proberly The Bin, Or They Get Deleverd To The North Pole And Then Are Burreyed Lol
  8. I just read an article about this - they go to a part of Alaska where the postmark actually says North Pole, and a bunch of volunteers answer the letters as Santa. I think it's pretty cute :]
  9. To Santa Claus, of course. He reads every one.
  10. The royal mail used to have a dept where the letters used to go to. They then put Santa's proper address on and forward it to him.
  11. in the bin i think
  12. My best guess? I think they throw them away. Or recycle them.. Or they open them all and read them as a cheap form of entertainment when they get bored.
  13. Adam Crozier uses them to wipe his bum on throughout the year,
  14. To Lapland... If you didn't already know there is a place there where children go to see "Santa" the letters most likely go there. Or their parents chuck them away and pretend they sent it to Santa.
  15. yeah i also read an article on yahoo news a few weeks ago that they all actually do go to the north pole and a bunch of volunteers get them... because they were saying it was being stopped this year? im not sure try and search for it because it was deffo yahoo news.
  16. They go to a warehouse where they divide them up, box them and ship them to refuges to burn in the braziers to keep the homeless nice and toasty during the bitter winter.
  17. the post man shreds them
  18. In the bin.
  19. They're kept at the Post Office and then, later shipped to a pulping mill where they make more paper for next years letters.
  20. they go to a part of Alaska where the postmark actually says North Pole, and a bunch of volunteers answer the letters as Santa. I think it's pretty cute :]
  21. well i dont think my parents actually put it in the post, they must of thrown it away but i think that the post office just throw them.
  22. dont they get sent back to you
  23. To the post office, you paid the postage
  24. I have just finished moonlighting at the Royal Mail and all the letters addressed to Father Christmas/Santa get sent to Ireland. I am not sure what they do with them there though. It seems a waste of money to send them somewhere only to burn them. Maybe Ireland is where his toy factory is. People actually put unnecessary stamps on letters addressed to Santa as well. do they really think the Royal Mail is so cheap that you have to pay for sending a letter to somebody who is not real and to a place that does not exist? lol
