Where to spend an old fashioned Christmas?

I'm looking for a place to go with my 2 kids (ages 9 and 10) to celebrate Christmas. I'm looking for somplace with holiday cheer, caroling, horse drawn sleigh ... like an old fashioned Christmas. Any suggestions? New England sounds wonderful but where in New England? I am currently in very far south Texas.

3. New England Christmas at Historic Deerfield in Deerfield, Mass. My aunt and uncle went here about 8 or 9 years ago and loved it. You should check it out and see if it is what you are looking for. I'm hoping to get there in the next year or so. :)
