Ideas for baby girl's first Christmas?
We will be celebrating our first Christmas as parents this year, and our little girl will be 10 months old. Although she won't remember, her daddy and I will! And I want her to have a fun day! We have basically already finished most of her Christmas shopping so I am asking more about activities we can do during the Christmas season. With older kids, you can go caroling and bake together and make Christmas cards. What can you do as a family of 3 with a little one that is fun, memorable, and exciting?!

- Our daughter will be 10 months also, born 27th feb 08 and we were thinking the same thing i know this wont help but i hope you get good answers so i can read and steal them lol Good luck :-)
- take her to go see santa and get pics.
- Take her for a ride to look at the Christmas decorations in your neighborhood. Babies are mesmerized by all the pretty lights. I have 3 girls, my youngest is 9 months and will be celebrating her 1st Christmas this year as well. I will never forget the joy on my babies' faces the first time they ever saw the pretty lights. I can't wait to share it with my youngest. Congrats and good luck!
- Where I live, our Zoo does a christmas thing every year called Zoo Lights. The animals are not out, but they dec out the whole zoo park with lights for people to walk through and look at. It's really cool.
- my babies first christmas also and im going to make cookies and have her help.. or play.. and then im going to put her hand print in one, bake it.. maybe glaze it and save it.. somehow.
- Our son was 10 months last Christmas. We took him to see the lights and Christmas displays at a local garden. We took him to visit Santa. We sang Christmas songs with him.
- My son will be about 10 months also (born March 6) I am SO excited for the holidays! I cannot wait to get our tree and decorate w/ very bright and exciting lights that flicker! He looooves lights... I also want to start playing childrens christmas music... and but him a cute christmas oufit. There is not much he can do OR will remember... my hubby and I do it more for our enjoyment lol. (we even took him to go see the fireworks this year to see his reaction... he wasnt scared but didnt watch the fireworks... he watched all the little kids running around instead!!) I think starting your OWN family tradition would be fun... and you could always tell her "we started this when you were just a little girl!" (it could be as simple as playing a certain christmas cd while she watched you and daddy decorate the tree... or eating certain foods/ snacks... it would be awesome to make a certain food each year and have her watch and sit in her high chair watching you this year... cause the next year she can HELP you and you can have pictures of each year and what/how you enjoyed the same activity together!)
- little ones love the pretty christmas lights thats what we do as far as seeing santa you can try my son didnt want anything to do with him till he was 4... good luck
