How is the commuting experience by metrolink between Santa Clarita and LA Downtown?

Does anyone take the metrolink train from Santa Clarita Metrolink Station to LA downtown (Union Station) during rush hours? How is the bus network in downtown good from union station to various office buildings or nearby streets? Any help will be appreciated.

1. That's a long commute, but Metrolink is definitely better than driving. The buses downtown are pretty good, but it depends where your office is.
2. its pretty neat also if you have a metrolink ticket (or pass) its also vaild on the local transit (metro and dash buses) also note that Santa Clarita transit also operate express buses from Santa Clarita into downtown as well (they get closer to westside of downtown (7th street area) and they also honor the metrolink tickets as well
