Leading Climate Researchers Predict "Mini-Ice Age"?

Their predictions – based on an analysis of natural cycles in water temperatures in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans – challenge some of the global warming orthodoxy’s most deeply cherished beliefs, such as the claim that the North Pole will be free of ice in summer by 2013. According to the US National Snow and Ice Data Centre in Colorado, Arctic summer sea ice has increased by 409,000 square miles, or 26 per cent, since 2007 – and even the most committed global warming activists do not dispute this."

1. This indicates the hysteria is unwarranted, that said we should try to take care of our planet.
2. Climate researchers are no better than astrological forecasters
3. Back in the 1970's and early 80's, in the midwestern US and other parts of the country and maybe the world, we had some brutal winters with a lot of ice and snow. The stories started about us heading into an ice age. Then came sometime in the 80's, I think, I'm not sure and 'global warming' started, which was somewhat believable because we had huge heat waves in the 1980's and by the late 80's and early 90's some huge hurricanes, Gilbert, Hugo, Andrew. I know this isn't the religion page, but only God knows what is happening with the weather or the climate, or if you don't believe, nobody knows for sure. Winters get cold and summers get hot That's a fact, regardless. I have half way expected, when the reporters talk about the heat in Haiti this last week, to make some statement like "90 degrees in January. Must be global warming." I don't say I don't believe in Climate Change, but it could change many different ways,.
