Santa

How does Santa bring presents to your children?

Well me and my husband were discussing it because we have a 1 yr old son and maybe next year but definitely the year after that Santa will have to come visit. Santa brought him all but one present which was from his Mom and they were wrapped but Santa brought me 1 huge expensive present that "my parents couldn't afford" and it wasn't wrapped. SO my question is does Santa bring your kids 1 present or several, wrapped or unwrapped? Thank you in advance!

  1. They bring presents to my children because my children believe in him. Santa brings my children one present each that is wrapped and it's usually a big present.
  2. alot of wrapped presents
  3. Santa has wrapping paper. I am thinking he will only be bringing one large gift every year, the rest is from us. Why should he get all the credit if he won't pay my credit cards down after the holidays?
  4. santa used to be the one that filled our stocking when we were little. That way the presents can be as cheap or dear as you can afford that year
  5. Set yourself a limit and buy within it. So if it 1 pricey gift or a few small gifts...your choice.
  6. I always got them wrapped with from Santa on the tag and as far as I remember all my gifts were "from Santa" except for five (from my parents, grandparents and 3 brothers)
  7. Santa breaks into our house, steals our cookies, and leaves one big gift. My 7-year old stepson always leave a gift for Santa too, usually a hot wheels car or some other toy he doesn't want anymore.
  8. When I was little, the only presents from Santa were the ones in my stocking on Christmas morning, just little things. I don't remember being so disappointed that Santa wasn't real, and I think that may be a part of it. That said, once when I was very little, probably four, on Christmas Eve I heard some bells jingling outside the house, then my sister went downstairs to the door and brought back up a pink scooter with a big bow on it, and everyone told me it was from Santa. It was cute, and a fun memory! But I'm glad that my parents didn't do that every year. They let me believe without overdoing it.
  9. Santa brings the "big gift", always unwrapped, and a few small gifts that are also unwrapped. That way she knows which are from Santa and are new gifts under the tree, and which are from everyone else. We've also told her (she's 3) that Christmas is a celebration of Jesus' birthday and that he and Santa are really good friends. Jesus wants everyone to get gifts with him on his birthday so he has his good friend Santa bring gifts to help him celebrate. I wasn't sure if she "got it" until we were at her granny's for Christmas Eve and all the presents had been handed out. Everyone was about to start unwrapping when she said, "WAIT! We still have to sing happy birthday to Jesus!" YAY!
  10. They way my parents did it and they way i do it now is... once they are two.. i started buying for them from santa... My parents and as well as i.. buy a bunch of things and say that they are from santa, but there is always one or two thing that u should say is from the parents*~ that way the child knows that u didnt forget about them too*~. and all the presents are wrapped and my mom always changed the writing, to... from santa*~ that way we didnt catch on*~ or you could always have ur husband write it*~... but yes all presents wrapped and all besides a select couple were from santa~ **Ive heard alot of ppl say why should santa get the credit for the gifts.. .i think its fun for your child to believe in it.. yeah at the moment they think the things are from santa.. but when they are old enough to know that he isnt real.. they will think back and realize that it was u all these years and hopefully appreciate it*~.. Its fun to give ur children something to believe in .. i think that its selfish when people say why should he get the credit*~! is that what gift giving is about? making sure that u get the credit for good gifts that you buy?.. id rather just see their happy faces and all the excitement that it bring*~ you yourself know that you bought that gift for your child who cares if he believes that santa brought it>? It made they happy didnt it? and you were there to witness it*~ and i have a daughter who is almost 5 so ive experience it*~ and my parents never did that with me and my brothers either and im glad that they didnt*~ i wish i could of believe in him longer and i hope my daugther does for as long as she can*~!..
  11. About half of the presents are from Santa, while the other half are from Mommy and Daddy. The presents from Santa are wrapped in paper with Santa printed on it, so my son will know who gave it to him without having to read a tag. The presents from my husband and me are wrapped in a different kind of Christmas paper.
  12. I have explained to my daughter (6 1/2) that mommy and daddy have a special phone number for santa we call him and tell him everything that is on her list and her brothers list (2 1/2) and send him $$ to buy what he can, since he has to take care of all the children of the world its very expensive. What he can not find or purchase we have to look for, all the gifts are under our tree wrapped some from santa and some from mommy and daddy.
  13. Santa brings the biggest toys to my house then accidentally leaves toys at my moms and sisters etc. it's suppose to make it more fun for my kids.
  14. santa tried having sex with me
  15. Several wrapped presents!
