Need help with christmas card advertising for my painting business.?

I own a residential/commercial painting business. I would like to have post cards made up for christmas and send them out to every customer I have ever had. I would like to do this as a marketing/advertising thing to gain business though referrals or repaints of same customers in the future. So what should the post cards say? Examples would be great. Thanks

  1. it shouldn't focus on just christmas because some of your customers could have different religions so it should say happy holidays on it or something along that line. also for the design on the front if you need help with that it should be a picture of you in front of your store and then have a couple color swatches that represent the holidays
  2. I agree, don't call them "Christmas" cards unless you know for sure they celebrate Christmas. The last thing you want to do is offend your customers. But why don't you give them a "holiday" GIFT! Give them $100...off their next house painting. Or give them $50...for every referral they send you that results in a sale! Your card can be a picture of you holding out a nicely wrapped gift or something fun like that. You'll be wishing them happy holidays while encouraging repeat business and referrals, but it won't seem like the only reason why you sent them a card was for strictly business purposes. Good luck, if you end up taking my advice I would love to hear your results. Happy Holidays!
