How many ways can Santa arrange his reindeer for his upcoming trip?

Santa has to decide how he will harness his reindeer to the sleigh. If he puts them in a single file, how many different ways can he arrange the eight reindeer? (Rudolph, of course, is always first so we do not need to use him to figure our answer.) The answer is somewhere in the thousands, i can tell you that.
