Santa

Does anyone else get very emotional at Christmas?

For some reason I'm always emotional at Christmas. The slightest thing make me want to cry for eg looking at the Santa tracker and seeing him in China made want to cry, all the Christmas carols make me cry, watching the kids get excited makes me emotional. It's always been like this even as a child. Does anyone else feel like this? It's a happy cry not a very sad one. lol. Merry Christmas all!!!

  10. Not me. Every year I try to bring back that special feeling of christmas and it never really happens for me. It seems just like any other time of year.
  11. yes i do cause not having any of my family around me any more, iv been abit weepy today, but il have to stay strong for my son and make sure he has the best christmas ever
  12. You aren't alone. When I gave some presents to a refugee family I was working with, I saw the most beautiful smiles just stretch across their faces, and I had to turn away so they couldn't see me crying. I was just so happy to see that I put those smiles on their faces! Honestly, volunteering my time and knowing that I'm affecting someone brings tears to my eyes. Certain Christmas songs and Christmas movies, like The christmas Shoes, make me cry, and whenever I go watch the Nutcracker, I cry too, knowing that I once was on that stage too (I'm a ballet dancer, but my school didn't do Nutcracker this year because of budget issues). I hope that you have a Christmas filled with joy. Merry Christmas Eve!
  13. It's cute that you are like that! And I think that many person are a bit like this around Christmastime. It is because everything is nicer for each other (I wish they would be like this all the time). You see happy people... But also people who are alone theese fays... There are feeling good movies on tv, families are coming together, and little children and their new toys. Everything around us is one big emotion. So, because of that people are also mor emotional. I am glad that you cry because you are happy (that is different for people who are alone theese days), and I think you just have to enjoy it. Merry Christmas, dear!
  14. well, my crying is a sa done. im not with my family. but i am happy Gd has provided me the opportumityto see another day and i do hopep to see this Christmas and many more. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!
  15. There are a couple things that always makes me emotional at Christmas: 1 - Christmas Eve service at Church - I did the Scripture reading for the 7PM service last year and almost choked up reading the nativity story from Luke. It's such a beautiful story and Christmas has always meant so much to me. 2 - Seeing the joy and excitement on my kids faces when they open their gifts on Christmas morning. It reminds me of all the great Christmases when I was a kid and it always makes me so thankful for our family and how blessed I am.
  16. I am totally like this. Something about all the emotions in the atmosphere at this time. Plus, it's a very important time of year and I'm always the one stressed out over where everyone is and if they're safe or not, and it's a time when everyone is together so I really don't have much to worry about because I know everyone is with me and safe. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
