Is Santa Claus, also known as Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, or simply Santa real?

This character you are referring to was based on a real person who back in the olden days used to make little wooden toys and when the children were a bed he would go and place one for every child on the doorstep! So in a way yes he was real but the big character that is built up nowadays isn't real i am afraid! Merry Christmas
17. Where it is true the real St. Nick died long, long ago, his spirit lives on in the spirit of unselfish giving. The version you see on TV is the creation of Ad men who have perverted his true spirit to sell toys. Fortunately his true spirit lives on in those of us who keep the spirit of Christmas. Google St Nicholas to see his true origin. No suit, reindeer or elves, just a man with a good heart.
