The ABC’s of Christmas Time A is for angels whose wings are so beautiful, And acts are so delightful. B is for Bethlehem where they were all night, Baby Jesus completely in sight. C is for cookies that you leave out for Santa, Even if you live in Atlanta. D is for donkey that was in the barn that evening, No, you were not dreaming. E is for Eggnog that comes out once a year, Yes, that’s only when it appears. F is for Frosty the Snowman a very famous song, Many people for sure can sing along. G is for the Grinch, where Christmas was thought to be stolen but not, No one else even gave it a thought. H is for holly that hangs around your house, Even ones where there is so much as one little mouse. I is for icicles that hang on your roof, Go look outside, you will see proof. J is for Jesus whose birthday is celebrated. It should always be appreciated. K is for Kris Kringle Anyone who would meet him would probably want to mingle. L is for Lights that are put up on a Christmas tree, It gives many people so much glee. M is for Merry Christmas which many people say. It is quite a wonderful holiday. N is for Noël who was the first, With happiness that could make you burst. O is for ornaments that dress your tree up in many colors to see, I’m sure everyone else will agree. P is for Pointsetta to make your house look more bright, You look around and everyone is blown out of sight. Q is for Quick, the way kids want to open their presents. There will be many things like this that will seem like huge events. R is for reindeer that fly on to your roof. Even the houses where the kid may be a goof. S is for Santa whose helpers really help out. That way there are many presents about. T is for The Twelve Days of Christmas when it is fun to sing this song, So many lines it is hard to sing along. U is for under the tree where your presents will be. But for me will there just be coal under the tree. V is for visiting which you will probably do. Unless of course you have the flu. W is for Wisemen who brought Frankencence, Myrrh, and Gold, The ones who brought presents in the cold. X is for X, which is Christ in Greek, For knowing that I am not a geek. Y is for yadayadayada, which is just like this poem it goes on and on. I wish it would just be gone. Z is for zamboni, to clear the ice. On Christmas day skating sure would be nice. we were instructed to use the alphabet, to make it rhyme and have to do with christmas.
