Santa

If Santa Claus was brought up on child molestation charges, could he be legally extradited from the North Pole

Public Comments

  1. He wasn't for breaking and entering.
  2. Ok, here's a secret. Santa is not real, he doesn't really live in the North pole. Sorry.
  3. Only if the north pole agrees to it, which it won't... because he is the master of the north pole. Of course we could declare war on false pretenses and then charge him of war-crimes, but then we would have his snowman/elf army to deal with... and trust me, you don't want to deal with a snowman/elf army... *shudders at the though*
  4. it'd be kind of hard to get an extradition from a gov't that doesn't exist
  5. The North Pole is in international waters. Therefore Santa is not in the jurisdiction of any country, nor is any country giving Santa the protection of its laws, consequently no request for extradition would be needed.
  6. God if Micheal Jackson can get away with child molestation charges, Santa clause can do it too.
  7. yes;however if he fights extradition--the governor in the state of the offense will have to get a governors warrant and the Gov of the North Pole will decide on it but in the end, they will just give the ole fat boy up. The most it can drag on is 30 days. *is this what happened to Michael Jackson?...ohhh my !
  8. Since the North Pole is not owned by an country, but is international waters, extadition isn't an issue. Anyone could seize him and take him to their country.
  9. no, but they could wait until he leaves to deliver gifts on christmas and arrest him when he gets to the place where the crime occurred. He would have to be denied bail as he is an obvious flight risk
