If your parents buy you the presents for Christmas, then who answers the letters as Santa?
When I was little, I used to believe in santa. Now I know my parents buy the presents, but also I mailed Santa when I was five at his address: Santa Claus North Pole So if Santa is not real, who answers the letters for Santa? And "Santa" wrote me back when I was little. So who replies back the mail?

- I suppose it would be his fan club
- Santa tells your parents what you want when you are about "not little". You think he's made of money? Ok, I'll be serious. Most post offices have a department to answer letters addressed as you did. If you had addressed it to Santa, Lapland it would actually have been delivered to Finland (even without a stamp), and the Finnish post office would have replied.
- Postal employees, or just volunteers who want to be helpful, sometimes even parents answer the letter!!
- Mr and mrs santa there are this couple named that and they answear letters sent to them every year they live in alaska
- omg, i never thought about that! maybe the postman/woman writes back to all the letters that little kids send to santa? but that would take a LONG time, maybe it's just one of those mysteries you never find the answer to...
- Well there is actually a town called North Pole in Alaska. Most letters are routed there and people of the town volunnter to write the letters. Some parents send in a letter along with there childs, so when they recieve the childs letter they send back the parents letter so that there will be a North Pole stamp on it. Santa is very busy and can't write all the children back. I guess it also has to do with what Country you are from also to where the letters might be sent.
- an internet service set up to help little children 'believe' perhaps
- santa is real and santa wrote back. duh!
- Who ever gives u the presents, so its ur parents....
- who said santa isnt real? jk
- If your parents didn't purchase the letter service, it could've been a volunteer. Oftentimes letters to Santa end up at the dead letter office.
- Well when I was younger I also wrote Santa Claus a letter and he wrote me back but was printed out from a computer I then noticed that every kid on the block received one just like I did...then about 2 days later I found out that the Post Office answers these letters. Sometimes when a child writes to Santa Claus either the Post Office or your own parents write back as Santa Claus to you because they don't want their children who do believe in Santa Claus to be hurtful or mad at them or go about telling other kids at school who do believe in Santa Claus that he isn't real then their parents call the child's parents who told other kids at school that Santa Claus isn't real. Trust me I went through this whole phase before with my mother and another child when I was younger.....Lol.
