Well........Santa lives there and its where they make all the toys. If you meant,. like, why they chose to associate Santa with the North Pole, then....oh. I couldn't tell ya.
he wears a heavy suit therefore he might have come from a cold place. since not a lot of people really know what is in the NP i guess it's the most suitable place for him to "be"
the catholic church had to come up with some remote place your average christian would never visit or even know existed.

All super hero's of folk lore were always from the north.
Well he has reindeer. Reindeer north pole they come from there if u look on a map with facts on it.
Because satan likes to head north because he's still tryna kill god. Satan is an anagram for Santa.
