how many people live at the north pole currently?
I'm trying to figure out how many people are at the geographic north pole on average, or on any given day. I figure anyone living there is probably a researcher of some sort, and was curious as to how many there were on any given day. My guess is around 2.

- none, dear one. It's uninhabitable. It's ocean, covered by ice.
- Not me. Now you can eliminate one from the list. Wait... My friend here says he is also not at the North Pole currently, so thts 2 off your list. You will know after you get 6 billion more answers like this.

- No one lives at the North Pole. I guess this is because the North Pole is on top of a fairly thin layer of floating ice, which tends to move around and crack. However, some people live at the South Pole: "Today the South Pole boasts a summer population of around 125, dropping to about 30 in winter." http://www.bbc.co.uk/insideout/northeast/series7/south_pole.shtml
- Well,there`s Santa,Mrs.Claus,the Elves and the Reindeer.
