- Well, you can't be in the North Pole. You can be at the North Pole. Circumpolar, means surrounding the pole. So you would look up and see stars forming a vague sort of circle around the pole. Those are the pole stars. Similarly there are South Polar stars, at the South Pole. I think if you do a little R&D on Wikipedia, you may even find a diagram of the stars.
- All the stars north of the equator would be circumpolar at the north pole, since circumpolar means circling the pole and never going below the horizon. At the equator, no stars are circumpolar.
