Filipinos: On your Christmas party "kris kringle"?
do you race in guessing who could your "manito/manita" be or do you simply indulge in "mystery" and leave the surprise for the day you exhange gifts?

- Simply wait for the exchange gift and leave the mystery.
- the fun and the mystery lies with discovering who they are.
- i suppose law students have low e.q. then! hahaha. my friends and i exchange names of who we got for our Christmas party "kris kringle" immediately after we get to pick their names off the hat! =)
- Guessing is the best part of Kris Kringle , but do not exert too much effort or you will spoil the surprise . Go with the Spirit of gift giving and enjoy the season to be jolly . Merry Christmas
- The last time I joined "kris kingle", I was so happy giving gifts to my "baby" ( a colleague in the Office) cause she was my crush. And the fun is how to place gifts on her table and she shouldn't know who placed it there. Since the office occupied 3 floors, she thought it was from the High Management, which was just down our floor. And she would ask me to spy for her, to see who was placing the gifts. She was just too disappointed whenever I report to her I saw no one while she was taking merienda. As for myself, it was no fun cuz the one who picked my name to be his/her baby did not keep with the spirit, and left me out and dry waiting and waiting and nothing comes. And I just knew it was my boss. And know what? I was right.
- of course, play with mystery but later curious who that person is... it is fun and even adults can play it
- I sometimes think who it could be when I get a small gift. I kind of take it as some sort of clue, but I don't go all out to find who my monito/monita is. I kinda enjoy the suprise of finding out on the final day.
- zzz... whoever picked my name will be very unlucky. hmmm... beer... zzz...
- I love surprises so I'd just wait for the "unveiling of identities".
- i like guessing! but i dont go asking people if they know who got me, i like to be surprised.
- I try to think of the person who got my name based on the gifts I receive. But I keep it to myself. And then wait for the final day, to check if my instincts were right. I don't go around looking for him/her though. I still would want to have the mystery. And I especially don't like it if the person who got my name tells me straight that s/he got my name. It just spoils the fun of it all!
- I like it with a li'l mystery and love surprises.. in a good way, of course. <*-*>
