Need help with some Christmas party ideas for next year.?

I am in charge of having a family christmas party next year and I need some ideas.? There will be approx 50 adults and 40 kids. We are having it at a hall and it will be catered. I need any ideas that will make it special and fun. We are thinking about having a raffle but I don't want it to be a general one. Something fun and different. Any ideas will be much appreciated. Santa will show up and have a gifts for the kids. We are thinking about having all the kids sing some carols too. Please help. : )

2. Karaoke, Wii games are always fun... you could have a contest instead of raffles-maybe for the best holiday dessert.
3. Here's some help. If there are going to be 50 adults and 40 kids, you'll need lots of food. Yes, caroling will be a great idea, but having everyone come and join hands singing together will be even better. Some games you can play could be like in groups of kids playing game boards or something like that. The adults could talk at circle tables with a table covering of snowmen or Christmas trees. You should put beverages such as soda, tea, coffee, juice, or milk. The food there should be warm and Christmasy. Dessert should be brownies, christmas shaped cookies, and other sweet things like that. Hope I helped!!!!!

5. I'd say rent out a gym for the kids. That'll take the energy right out of them and cool them down. As for the adults, maybe you could have a bunco tournament or something. www.partyonguide.com may have some additional ideas.
6. Here is something I did at a family reunion. I took my laptop and loaded it with as many family pictures as I could get my hands on. I rented a projection screen, and set up a slide show. It was a hit! Everyone stood around the screen, waiting for each photo to come up. That year, I took pictures during the party, which will go on the slide show for next year. I had relatives all over the place sending me pictures! It is personal, sentimental and good for teaching the children their heritage.
