What should i wear to a play called "A Christmas Carol" that the whole 7th grade is going to but...????

we have to wear a skirt and nice shirt or dress So if u could show me anything from anywear i would love that and thanks for the help i like areopostle and something like that or anything so yea THANKS!!! also i live in ohio so its kinda getting cold lol and we cant wear pants or jeans ppl a good place to make an outfit is on polyvore its pretty cool (i just suck at coming up with outfits) OMG I WAS JUST THINKING IM GOING TO GET MY EARS PERICED LIKE THE WEEK BEFORE THIS SO YAY!!!!! 16 hours ago oh yea we go to the play and then we go out to eat!! so YAY!! i cant wait i just wish i had a bf because mine dumped me but i still like him and well yea got another gf a week after so whatever and also i want this other kid to sit by me cause i think he likes me but idk so omg i cant wait lol im not 10 so shut up and we have to wear something nice or we have to stay at the school and we are also going out to eat and yes ive been in plays and been to many plays in fact i went to the 42nd street on my 9th or 10th birthday and another with friends on my 11th or 10th birthday and many others so yea and some on crusies

2. Are you 10? It is dark in a playhouse. Doesn't matter one bit what you wear. They are there to see a play, not you. Wear a nice comfortable skirt and a sweater you can remove.

8. A Christmas Carol is a great story by the great English author Charles Dickens. I am glad you have to wear a dress or skirt because that is so much more feminie than the current trend for jeans or trousers (sorry pants as you say i the US - pants here in the UK means underwear!). I suggest a long skirt, maybe in crushed velvet perhaps dark purple, white shirt perhaps frilly, perhaps a jacket to match the skirt. I shouldn't wear heels, something like court shoes is appropriate.

11. If you have a knee length or longer black skirt or a dark solid color skirt. Then match it with a long sleeved blouse in white or a color that matches the skirt. Try wearing a dress blazer with the blouse. Now if you have that try wearing a pair of knee high boots with your outfit. And lastly wear cordinating jewelry to bring it all together. Don't wear really bright colored clothing. you want to look nice but yet blend in. And don't use allot of makeup. Try to look as natural as possible. Bew the girl a boy wants his parents to meet.
