german christmas carols?

there is a german christmas carol that i used to sing, but i cant remember how it goes. its about the kid's toys making noises and things....... its driving me nuts! any idea what song it could be?

1. I actually have an idea of what you might be going about. About two yars ago the school choir sang something in German and we was at the Chsirtmas celebration of Achievment. I can't think of anything at the minuet but I'll ask on Monday or something at school.. In the meantime - two points for me!
2. Silent Night- it was originally in German.
