Ok, I need to write an article about Christmas Caroling horror stories... Please, help! I can't sing, so I've never caroled - please share your story with me. 1. as a kid i went with a church group around the neighborhood in Milwaukee. it was very cold, there was snow on the ground and we were doing great until this old geezer turned a water hose on us from inside his house. I thought we'd freeze to death. there was a police report filed but i don't think they ever did anything to the guy. I never went caroling again, we moved shortly after that
2. This goes back to when I was in high school. Our youth group from church set off to carol for shut ins and nursing homes. Well................It was cold and we went to the nursing home last, I really really had to go to the bathroom....I found a rest room and stepped inside...............I could hear the group singing just outside the door so I knew I would not get "lost".................well when I went to open the door to go out.........I WAS STUCK...........I knocked on the door and they were singing so loudly that no one could hear me.......(remember this is the pre cell phone era)......I tried to write help on a section of toliet paper and it would not slide under the door...........I was in a unit that they would lock as soon as we left that area and the nurse station was way down the hall. My horror increased as the singing voices got farther and farther away........I knocked and knocked but they kept singing louldly and were walking away............I started to cry.....then figured someone would help me sometime or miss me sometime........an hour later I had started to kindof fall asleep when someone threw open the door.........I jumped up disoriented and hit my head on the sink and knocked myself out cold..........
