What is the best way to get to Las Vegas from Santa Barbara?

Well I want to get to Vegas this weekend from Santa Barbara and flights will be almost $400. I looked up Greyhound and Amtrak and both will be about $120 which is good but it will take over 9 hours! Anyone know of any better ways?

2. We used to live in Ventura and we drove all the time to Vegas. It would only take about 5 hours or so. You can map quest it. I don't remember all the roads we used to take. I do remember the 15 being one. There's a couple different ways to go I think. Which ever way we went was the shortest. Good luck and have fun.
