Looking for Christmas Charities to be part of on Vancouver Island?

Our Community started a "Pay it Forward" project several years ago after we went through a very hard Christmas and were helped out in a huge way. We have been collecting toys for 3 years now but in the last two years the organizations we contacted said they had enough donations. We are looking for suggestions for charities or projects we can become involved with on Vancouver Island. Any Ideas??
