What is the topography like in northern Finland? What is the landscape of the Finnish province of Lapland like, particuarly in the upper north? Are there mountains, lakes, marshes, forests, etc.?

Where is the best place to have a short break in December? Im looking for a short break for a long weekend in December but can't decide where to go!Not Lapland I know that! Possibly a city like Amsterdam, but I have been there so quite like idea of somewhere different! I am also possibly looking for somewhere with awesome scenery.(possibly Switzerland??)I like big lakes/mountain views etc etc. I want to keep the break within Europe as its only a short break and don't want the hassle of long flights for a few nights. Any help would be really appreciated!! Thanks in advance
