How to get rid of white border/use entire Hallmark custom Christmas cards I am making? I just bought a package of Hallmark Premium Blank 4x8 Photo cards because I am making my own Christmas cards this year. All of the designs do not use up the entire card, and I want to use the entire card so there is no white border showing. Does anyone know how to do this? On the box, there are pictures of the entire card being used but I can't get mine to be that way. Please help! Thank you.

Does Hallmark still sell decent Christmas cards? I figure its a card store right? And Christmas is a big holiday, right? but of the hundreds of ornaments this year on display of the hundreds I only see 1 nativity one referencing Jesus. Maybe 1 more angel one with a prety vague message, and 1 with a verse about fruit of the spirit form Galatians so out of maybe 200 ornaments perhaps 3 that celebrate Christmas spiritually... does the quality of their card reflect this shallowness as well... or is the quality of the Christmas cards at Hallmark poor also? Jehovah's Witnesses; I know I am late with this but it happened today. Christmas Cards? I received 3 generic hallmark cards during Christmas lol. I say generic because everyone got "Happy Holidays and wish you the best" on all 3 from employees that I don't even remember their names. Anyway I always take them and shove it into my draw a work and say thanks! Man purposely steals Christmas cards from CVS pharmacy? I went to CVS over the holiday weekend, and there was a VERY long line at the pharmacy. There was a man looking very disgruntled in line. He had about 5 Hallmark cards in his hand. When he got up to the register, he got his prescription, paid for that, then hid the cards behind the bag and walked out... What do you think of Christmas Cards with no note, picture of letter? Every Christmas my wife and I get tons of "Holiday Cards" from old friends and relatives we no longer speak to and they are simply a overpriced Hallmark Card with a simple signature. No note, no form letter, no personal letter, no picture and not even a signature in pen. Just a card with address labels produced by a computer printer. Am I the only person who didn't get anything for their Christmas? I'm bitterly upset because I didn't get nothing from no one. I was at my mums for Christmas dinner and everyone came and went all day with Christmas presents and I never even got a card from any of them. They all spoke to me but I still felt out of place and I've been welling up all day because they were all taking about what they got and I got nothing. I gave all their kids presents and them a hand written Hallmark card and in total I spent over £500 this year on making sure I got everyone a good gift. Should I buy my step-father a Christmas present...? I can't begin to describe what a jerk my step-father has been to me over the past year. He's blamed me for many things that he has done to hurt my mom. I moved out and just as me and my mom were starting to become close again, one of my biggest secrets came out (with the topic of rape) and he was the first to email me saying that he did not believe me, and that he would call the police (to get me charged for false accusations) if I admitted to it being true. He is a retired police officer and had the connections. He convinced my mother that I'm a liar and a bunch of other things which I am not, and seems to have ruined my mom and I's healing relationship. Of course, I've gotten my mother something (meaningful) for Christmas, but I am undecided about my step-father. If I don't get him a gift, it won't make things with my mom any better - And it could be seen as immature (even I can see that). But what do I buy for a man that I completely despise and who has done such damage to my life? Do they make a Hallmark card that says, "Happy holidays.. You disgust me!"? How much should I spend on the gift? His main hobbies are sculpting, painting and playing guitar. I was going to get him AC/DC concert tickets, but I feel that may be "playing it up" a little strong..

Mothers Day dilemma: idealized cards, less-than-ideal Mom...? I realize that no human being is perfect, but does Hallmark? I love Hallmark, BTW, but come Mothers Day, or when it comes to Christmas or birthday cards for Mother, she is "always supportive, always loving, always there". Mine isn't, and I won't give her a card that says she is. She is often verbally abusive, critical, and faultfinding. Until they make cards with milder praise, I'll have to find cards that say "God bless you" or "Have a wonderful day" and not much more than that. Does anyone else experience this dilemma when it comes to Mothers Day? If so, how do you handle it?

Sensitivity: Why are some people moreso than other? ? Why are some people more sensitive than others? Does it have to do with upbringing or something in the brain (neuroscience). I tend to find myself sometimes crying in certain Hallmark commercials (especially during Christmas cards), I get teary-eyed when little kids hug me where I volunteer (at a shelter), & I sometimes get emotional from certain Disney movies (esp. animal ones like Lion King). Advice about mother-in-law? My boyfriend and I have been going out for 2 years, 8 months this month. We recently began talking about engagement, and I know he has purchased a ring. We are currently living together, have great jobs, and are very happy. The problem is my future mother-in-law. Since I've known my boyfriend, she hasn't bought me one single gift. If you have a gay brother who has a "special friend"? and your mother addresses their Christmas card to both of them, and the inside of the card has a mushy HallMark poem to her son (my brother) and money. Do you think the 'special friend" should be angry, knowing that part of the money was for him too? This is really happening right now and has been causing drama for about a week. The "special friend" is PISSED that he didn't get a card with his name on it.

Can you make it so an email arrives in someone's inbox on a certain date? I know alot of e-card websites (Hallmark, American Greetings, etc.) let you choose when you would like the recipient to recieve the card, like if you dont want them to get a Christmas card before Christmas, then you just set it so they get it on Christmas Eve. I didnt like any of the ecards I saw online, so I decided to make my own using photoshop, and was planning on just emailing it to my friend on my own. But my question is, is there a way that I can send it now, (so that I dont forget to send it later) but the recipient won't recieve it until Christmas Eve? I want to help the troops but don't know where to start;-(? My unit is on their way to Afghanistan and I want to send them care packages and Christmas cards but I have no money/boxes/gifts/phone cards/greeting cards so I was hoping somebody out there had some clever ideas on how I can get this ball rolling??? I'm thinking I could just call Hallmark and ask if they'll donate some cards but are there other organizations/companies that are known for supporting troops? What to give my boyfriend for our one-year anniversary? I looked at a lot of similar questions and answers for ideas, but I think I need things more specific to my case. My son's father seem to have a problem with his support payment. Even though he was irresponsible about him fo r nine years. He seems to resent the fact that I took the steps necessary to make sure my kid was provided for. Yesterday when I asked him about getting my son a birthday card.(with a little gift inside)He seemed to get resentful and causually mention his child support order. Was I wrong. Choosing a Thank You card? I need to send a thank you card to the person who proctored my exam. I am the student and she supervised me while I took my exams. At Wal Mart there is two ilses of cards that has all kind of designs. You know what I'm taling about. (St) Valentines day: a religious holiday, commercial exploitation or bit of harmless fun? It today a genuine religious holiday, as it has a saint's name - in whch case, how do people observe it? Gifts for Employees?? What do you want to receive this year? We already are doing the following: - Christmas Party in early December(dinner theater comedy show, guest invited) - Cash bonus - $20 Gift card for their favorite grocery store (in lieu of turkeys, we don't get a great response when we give turkeys anymore) - Hallmark ornament customized to their personal hobbies - Custom snowman wall plaque (www.familysigns.com) - Rainy Day Fund jar with a $50 gift card inside to their favorite store - Continental Breakfast on 12/22 Not sure what else to give them. We always give gift baskets full of something. One year it was a breakfast theme with about $100 worth of stuff in it and a gift card. One year we did digital cameras. We thought this year we'd do 5-6 gifts around $10-20 each for each employee and hand them out one at a time (sort of "santa" style) under the tree. We only have 8 employees so it is managable. Any ideas? We want to keep it personalized & useful for everyone - most employees are in their 40s or 50s.
