Explain why an observer near the Earth's north pole will never see Mars near their zenith.?

What happens if you keep on going UP in outer space? North Pole lift off and keep on going up? Does my question make sense? Like instead of going "left" towards Venus or "right" towards Mars what happens if you lift off at the North Pole and keep on going up? Where would one end up?

Does ice on Mars mean easily accesible potable water? So they found ice under the ground near the Martian North Pole. Doesn't this mean that it would be a logical hypothesis to predict that there is water beneath the surface near the equator, which would not be frozen? A telling characteristic of electrical origin is a crater centered on the rim of another crater. This is a common sight on the Moon and other planets. It's an expected effect of the arc jumping to or striking the highest elevations in lab experiments. Also take a look at this other picture of an "impact" crater on Mars. What the hell kind of impact raises the center of the crater? Theory about life on mars. am i right? i don't have too much to back it up but i can say that i think that mars was originally a planet with life forms. In Google Earth i noticed that in some areas especially near the north polar ice caps that the elevation was 10000-15000ft below the service which is deep enough to have a geological water forms (lake, ocean, sea, etc.). Also i noticed that Mars has other geology on the planet such as volcanoes (Olympus Mons), canyons (Valles Marineris), dunes (close to the north pole), and so on. As for the problem on breathing is where i don't have any evidence but I'm guessing long ago that there was life and that mars had water and oxygen and everything you needed to live. However Mars had some type of disaster where it melted water, destroyed the atmosphere, and killed all life forms leaving it to be a wasteland. Another theory i had for breathing is that there are organisms that don't breathe oxygen. So tell me is this a good theory or am i just crazy?

For the sake of argument, presuming that Mars has a complete solid core and if I were to drill an 7ft wide hole from Mars's North Pole right the way through to the south pole, then I was to jump into hole would my body stay at the very center of Mars where the gravity is equal or what would happen?

Are the "permanent" ice caps on Mars melting? In a recent conversation on global warming, someone told me that the polar ice caps on Mars were receding indicating that global warming is occuring on Mars as well as on Earth, and therefore that it is due to the Sun getting hotter and not to our own CO2 emissions. I know that Mars has frozen CO2 polar ice caps that form and disappear over a Martian year (The frozen CO2 sublimes from the South pole and forms at the North and then back again as the seasons change). This is normal and is no indication of an overall warming trend there. We all put our faith in something. We all believe in unseen evidence. For example, we all believe that somewhere in space there are planets named mars, venus, saturn, mercury, and so on. Yet many of us have not seen them with our own eyes, but we only believe in them because of what our science books, teachers, and whoever else tells us. If I would send you to outter space for the first time you would pretty much guarentee me that those planets would be there. Your only source of evidence is man and what he has told you.
