Do I need an American Stamp for the return letter from the North Pole Cancellatioin Mark? I live in Canada and I want to send a letter 'from Santa' to my neices. I want to write it out myself but I want the special North Pole Cancellation Mark. I know to write the letter and address it and place a stamp on it, put it in another envelope and send to the North Pole, Alaska. But I was wondering when I put the return letter into the envelope will it be okay if it is a Canadian stamp as I don't have access to US stamps. Thanks. Edited to Add: The problem is that your not suppose to use 'foreign' stamps to mail your letters. I can obviously use a Canadian stamp to send the letters to Alaska, but my question is would the Alaskan Post Office, which is American be okay with the Santa letters having Canadian Postage and not American. If I was in Alaska myself and just started using 'foreign' postage to mail stuff they wouldn't send it. There's a reason you can't buy actual US stamps in Canada and why you can't buy Canadian stamps in the US. But are they North Pole Cancellation people being strict on this at this time of year? I was given an assignment in school, a map, and I'm to colour all of the salt wter body's blue..and I thought that, well, all the water on the map was to be coloured, but I'm afraid that perhaps there is some water that is not? the very middle is the north pole, and surrounding it there is russia, alaska, canada, norway, and greenland. pacific ocean, atlantic ocean, sea of okhotsk, davis strait, and arctic ocean and some that i had to label...Do I just colour all of the water around the countries blue?

Would a Chihuahua (dog, not a person from the region in Mexico) survive in Alaska? We may have to move from a VERY warm area of the southeastern U.S. to the North Pole (Alaska). Maybe. Different way to make a fashion scarf? I just talked to a friend in North Pole, Alaska, who told me about this lady at a craft show who made fashion scarves with thin, glittery yarn by swirling it around and pressing it with some type of paper, which makes it stick like that permanently even if you wash it. Why we can't drill Alaska and get oil from there? I don't understand how it can harm wildlife in Alaska. Alaska isn't the only place for wildlife... Animals have all of the North Pole and Canada and Russia and all to roam about and around. Why would million of people wanna move out there in Alaska for? Alaska has blizzard and snow for 6 months. Near gun tragedy in my daughters middle school on April 19th..would like help? getting coverage. I feel our school has treated it as a joke. 12 children were suspended. This took place at our middle school in North Pole, Alaska in a school of 486 enrolled students. Had the plot been pulled off, the devastation would have been possibly the greatest in history, because every morning our school piles the entire students body in the lunchroom to wait for the day to start. Depending on what kind of weapons these children were planning to bring, a lot of children could have been hurt/killed. No one seems to understand what a bad situation piling all of those kids into 1 room like that is. I have been complaining about it long before the threats happened (and I take my daughter to school every morning so she is not stuck in that room). No one will do anything about it - even after this plot was nearly carried off. Do you agree that this is a dangerous situation? Looking for ideas for 3 year old girls indoor birthday party.? My little 3 year old just turned 3 and will have her first birthday party on Saturday with other kids here age from daycare. I am not planning on having a clown/magician etc since I think that is to much and in my experience with other parties that my daughter was invited to, the little ones (2,3 and 4 year olds) do not get the magic tricks anyways and often do not have the attention span for that. We also live to far from any indoor playplaces to do it there and since we live in North Pole, Alaska and it is already very cold and snowy outside we have to do it inside. So, I am looking for ideas of how to keep a bunch of 2, 3 and 4 year olds entertained for a couple of hours and make it a special day for my daughter. Any ideas/experiences would be appreciated. Parents- Would you get this for your young child? I have been thinking of starting a small "Letters from Santa" business as a way of making a few extra bucks for Christmas presents. Basically, I would offer parents the chance to buy their child a "Letter from Santa".... parents fill out a questionnaire about their kid (name, age, favorite color, favorite TV show, etc.). Letters will have a North Pole, Alaska postmark. For each child, to type on Christmas themed paper a personalized letter from Santa, and put it in an Christmas themed envelope. I was thinking of charging 7 or 8 dollars per letter, and I will probably offer discounts for multiple children in the same family. How much would you pay for something like this? Or would you even pay anything for this service? Do you think I will be successful? I was hoping to bring in 500 dollars or so profit. What do you think? Thanks for your thoughts and tips.

I have often wondered as to how the people in North and South America actually got to those 2 continents? My observations of Koreans and photos of Peruvians Appearing to look like each other...............plus wooden carved totem like poles being similar to north american totem poles .Leads me to infer that prehistoric east asians from Manchurian China followed the grazing cattle and sheep & goat herds across the Behring strait- land mass to Alaska. What kind of plants can be grown in the Fairbanks/North Pole Alaska area? My family and I are moving to Alaska in May. I know how expensive it can be to ship things to Alaska so I would like to purchase some seeds now, but almost all zoning maps exclude Alaska and I'm not sure what seeds to get. How do I lose weight quickly before summer is here? OK so I want to lose weight quickly before summer is here but working out is really not an option considering I work one full time job and one part time job going to school full time plus additional classes I have to take for work and not to mention I have a two year old son that I devote all my free time two.
